About Author: Dr. Carol S. Dweck is widely regarded as one of the world's leading researchers in the field of personality, social psychology and developmental psychology.

This book is for all those teachers, students, parents, couples, businessman's or businesswomen's, who wants to do better in their jobs, studies, relationships.

The author will guide you with examples on how to change your mindsets, and turn them into the best version of yourself, as our personality actually grows out of these mindsets of ours.

In total 8 chapters are given:
  1. The mindsets.
  2. Inside the mindsets.
  3. The truth about ability and accomplishment.
  4. Sports: The mindset of champion.
  5. Business : Mindset and Leadership.
  6. Relationship : Mindset in Love(or not)
  7. Parents, Teachers, and Coaches: Where do mindset come from.
  8. Changing Mindsets.
In all those chapters, author explains about how our mindset affects literally all parts of our life? Whether it's a growth mindset or fixed mindset? And how to change it and achieve your goal?

The first chapter, "The Mindset" explains about different kinds of mindsets. In general, it can be Growth mindset, or  Fixed mindset. And there is also a False Growth Mindset, about which you'll learn in depth in chapter 7.

In 2nd chapter, my favourite topic is "Mindset and Depression". Well that's because in this chapter, the author talks about how depression is different for Growth mindset student's and Fixed mindset students. And partly because, I am a student who can totally relate to both mindset depression's, as sometimes I am introvert and other time extrovert, likewise, sometime I have fixed mindset while other time Growth mindset.

In following chapters, author writes about different kinds of mindset : Mindset in school achievement, Artistic ability- is it  gift?, Negative labels, character, success, failure, relationship, shyness, bullies and victims, parents and teachers, false growth mindset, Brainology, etc.
And at the end of each chapter and throughout the last chapter, Dr. Carol will show you ways to apply the lessons- to recognise mindset, change the mindset and understand them.
